PantryPulse legal

Terms of Use

Effective August 20, 2026

These terms govern your use of the PantryPulse iOS app. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Purpose

PantryPulse helps you record household food inventory, expiration dates, shopping items, and estimated food spending or waste. You are responsible for the information you enter and for decisions made from it.

Food safety

Expiration dates, freshness labels, and use-first suggestions are organizational aids. They are not food safety advice. Always inspect food, follow package instructions, use safe storage practices, and discard anything you believe may be unsafe.

Prices and estimates

Shopping totals, discarded value, and rescued value are estimates based on locally entered prices and quantities. They are provided for personal planning and may not reflect actual financial savings.

Acceptable use

You may use PantryPulse for personal and household inventory management. You may not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with its operation, or copy and redistribute the app except as permitted by law.

Availability

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change as PantryPulse is maintained and improved. To the extent permitted by law, no guarantee is made that the app will always be error-free or available.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PantryPulse and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the app or reliance on its estimates and reminders.

Changes

These terms may be updated when the app changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
